New Holy Grail Nighttime Face Moisturizer
I have been using this as a face moisturizer at night, and it has completely transformed my skin. I live in SoCal, and the weather is in the middle of changing. Yesterday we had 5% humidity, temperature has been vacillating between the high 80s and low 50s. My skin is unbelievably dry, especially my face. As a total skincare junkie, Iâve been using two different types of moisturizer, straight Argan oil, Marine Hyaluronics by The Ordinary, and rosewater. Nothing worked. My undereyes were peeling. My foundation and concealer caught every single dry spot to the extent that I couldnât wear makeup without looking like I had a peeling sunburn underneath. I was just about fed up when I Googled âbest moisturizer for dry skinâ and this came up. This is a new holy grail.The (Mild) Downsides:The smell is not phenomenal, a bit like paint, almost. It scared me at first, but I have very sensitive skin, and it hasnât irritated it. I believe the smell is natural. I also get reactive breakouts to some products, but not this, so even though itâs thicker than acrylic paint, fear not.That brings me to my next pointâ this is THICK. Very, very thick, and depending on the temperature, difficult to spread. I usually just take the opportunity to massage my face, but once I get to the thin eye area I swap to a patting motion OR cut it with some Argan oil.It feels sticky but once it sinks in it really isnât. It may be best to think of it as an overnight mask, or in very thin layers, a primer. This will make your skin incredibly happy and hydrated, but it will also make you shine like a freshly waxed floor if you lay it on thick during the day. A little does go a long way, but itâs tough to get that little to go the way.All downsides have been 200% worth it for me. My skin is no longer peeling at all. My light coverage foundation goes on the way you see in commercials. My concealer is working without issue. My skin feels plump and not-fatigued. I have even been able to return to using my retinol and glycolic acid in spite of the extremely dry weather, and my skin is STILL happy and moisturized.I could not recommend this enough if youâre at a loss with dry skin, and if you arenât afraid of stickiness, lay it on thick and sleep in it.

If you suffer from really dry skin like myself, then this is something you definitely need in your kit! It is extremely thick, moisturizing cream. You only need a little bit and once you apply it all over your face or skin your skin just glows! My skin feels so soft after using this, and it makes my make up application, look flawless. Also, since Iâve been using this, a part of my nighttime routine, I have noticed less redness and inflammation in my face, and best of all, no more acne. I am really happy with this product and would put it on subscription.

Incredible moisturizer for the price!
I donât review products very often, but I research reviews when Iâm purchasing. For reference, Iâm a healthy 54 year old woman with normal skin. Two years into menopause Iâm finding my skin looks dehydrated as the day progresses. I read a Glamour magazine article that praised this moisturizer as the $10 dupe for LaMer Créme de La Mer so I decided to try it. I was skeptical at first because its consistency is thick, but Iâve been using this almost daily in the morning underneath my makeup (I let it absorb for 2-3 minutes before foundation) sometimes with an extra sunscreen step sometimes without and the finish is beautiful! My skin stays natural looking, slightly dewy with only one blot and powder session mid day after hot yoga on my lunch break. My skin looks amazing and no breakouts (although Iâm not sensitive or break out prone). I highly recommend you try this, and if it doesnât work for you on your face, itâs a wonderful hand moisturizer too!

Thick creamy moisturizer
This moisturizer seems great so far! Only used for a few days. I have heard amazing things about it and wanted to try it. It has a great smell to it that is not over powering. It is a very thick creamy substance, almost like a thick balm. Can be a little hard to rub in because it is so thick but I like it. Doesn’t seem to make you oily either

AMAZING for face
Have used the light weight Skin Food for face moisturizer. Itâs good, however the OG is even MORE better! In application, I noticed my skin was GLOWING under my makeup, and lasted all night! Itâs definitely rich and emollient!! Worked even better compared to IT Cosmeticsâ Confidence in a Cream or even Bobbi Brownâs Vitamin Enriched Creamâsincerely itâs THAT good! AND itâs all natural and literally sooo cheap!! DEF will be buying again!! 🙂

A little is all you need. Absorbs well. Really helps my dry hands. But has that lanolin scent I donât care for.

As a bald guy I use this for both my head and face and find it to be a great product. It can be used sparingly so it covers a lot of ground, or skin I suppose. It dries very dry and has a nice citrus smell. One small downside is that the beeswax component makes it slightly sticky on the hands when applying. Oveall though, it is solid value and I will continue pamper my pate.

Ayant le syndrome de Raynaud j’ai une peau sensible et sèche voir très sèche. Je cherchais une crème pour les mains et cette crème est top, elle hydrate très bien et en plus elle sent bon les plantes médicinales. J’en mets vraiment une noisette 3 fois par jour et avant d’aller me coucher. Je la recommande. Elle peut s’appliquer sur le corps mais je trouve que vu le contenu elle convient mieux aux mains.
