    Now I get the hype
Okay this thing is really addictive. My only point of comparison are the NeeDoh Gumdrops and generic spherical squishy-fidgets.The NeeDoh Cube has a lovely, amazing doughy squish to it that is SO satisfying and soothing. I particularly love that it is a cube shape rather than a sphere; with a sphere there’s really just the same squish in any given direction. With the Cube it feels different depending on the direction of squish (side, edge, corner) giving it WAY more interesting properties as you squish. I enjoy poking in the corners, pinching the edges sharper, poking in the flat sides, compressing in one direction and then the other, etc – it’s just WAY more dynamic than a sphere. The Cube *is* a bit tacky out of the box and so as suggested by other owners I powdered mine (I used talc as I’m allergic to corn-based products like corn starch). This adds to the doughy feel and also helps keep hair and fuzz from sticking to the surface.I mentioned I also own a set of NeeDoh Gumdrops and I honestly couldn’t pick one over the other as they do two different things for me. The Gumdrops are textured and have a different type of squish and are also far more tactilely interesting than a sphere. The Gumdrops are slightly smaller than the Cubes and are a tad more portable and fit a bit easier in a single, small hand, if that’s of interest.I’ve only had my cube for about 5 weeks so I can’t attest to its durability but I suspect it depends on how aggressive of a squisher you may be. I’m comparatively gentle with mine and never squeeze hard enough to get that translucent bubble effect going on – I’m also careful about squeezing around the plug so maybe that will help it live a long time, who knows.

    Stiff and satisfying
Maybe the most satisfying squeeze toy ever. It’s nice and stiff, but still stretchy. I love the texture on the outside too. I also love how it goes right back to its original shape when you set it down.

    The Best Stress Relief Toy
This fidget stress reliever cube is the best squeeze toy I have ever used. The cube is soft yet firm, and even has some of the properties of “oobleck” where it is very hard when hitting it or dropping it, yet is very soft when squeezing it or poking it slowly. It can also be stretched, twisted, and squeezed for hours and each time it returns back to its original shape perfectly. I have used this as both a fidget toy and for stress relief, and I find myself squeezing it while watching videos, and even when reading. The toy is an absolute masterpiece as it is just one of the best I have found and used. I have owned my two Cubes for a few months now and neither is torn or deformed. So, for anyone looking for a stress ball (in cube form) or a fidget toy, I highly recommend this!

The Squish That Keeps on Giving
UPDATE: It has been about a week since writing this review and another one broke. The only good thing is that the gel inside seems to be water soluble, its sticky but water rinses it right off. Not knocking down any stars because my kid BIT it so it wasn’t the cube’s fault. I think it’s important to know that the gel inside is easily cleaned up – just REALLY sticky!A fidget toy that’s not just a round blob but a perfectly quirky cube, begging to be squeezed, squished, and squashed to your heart’s content. The texture is delightfully soft, like squishing a stress cloud (if clouds were squishy and stress-relieving). But alas, the path to sensory bliss was not without its hiccups. One of our beloved cubes decided to pop prematurely, I am still not sure how one of my kids managed it though because it is tough. But even with one casualty, the remaining cubes continue to deliver their zen-like magic, making the whole experience a mostly smooth ride. I honestly might have to order more because at this rate, I am worried my husband will be stealing one of the remaining two we have left!

    So satisfying!!
What I love most about this product is that it is satisfying to hold and squish without being *too* squishy. There is a slight firmness to it that makes it really satisfying to squeeze and even to roll between your hands. It’s pleasing to look at too. It makes a really great stimming toy for my neurodivergent self.ALSO, the silicone material does not have the sticky gross feeling that comparable products can have. My sensory issues really appreciate that. It truly is the best of all worlds and I’m gonna get a lot of value out of it for the price!

    Super cool feeling
The size is pretty large. Even though it squishy it’s also very firm. Very fun to play with. I’m not sure when the pop time will be but don’t use it with nails or anything sharp.

    Texture is a turn off
I have mixed feelings about this product. It has a nice weight to it, the shape and size feel good in my hand. The squish is nice, kind of feels like it’s filled with thinking putty or something similar. It is much softer than I was expecting, I thought it would have a little more give to it. It’s also much less slow rising than I hoped it would be, it goes back to it’s original shape pretty quickly. Another aspect of the sensory experience I hadn’t considered is that the outside has a very rubbery texture kind of like a balloon. It’s not exactly sticky, just very grippy. The friction against my fingers is a bit off putting, I would prefer a more smooth rubberized texture (satin finish?) that I could rub my fingers across. I don’t mind that it’s squishier and not as slow rising as I was hoping, however the grippy rubber texture will definitely keep me from reaching for this squish over others.

This is great quality and lovely to squish! The only downside is that I couldn’t pick colours and ended up with two blues. It would have been nicer to be able to choose.
