   Insomnia approved! Side sleeper approved!
   For weeks I have been have really struggled to sleep and my insomnia was pretty bad so I decided to buy this and see if it helps. This blind fold does a great job at blocking out light and I was surprised at the quality of it. It feels so comfortable kind of like memory foam but not too bulky . The straps are adjustable and feel durable. I admit I hesitated with buying this one because of the price and the design looked kinda bland and boring I’ve seen cuter mask but tbh this one is so worth it . The comfort out weighs the design. After buying this even on restless night , it knocks me right out after putting it on . Doesn’t feel heavy or anything. Just buy it fr you will thank yourself later I know the price is kinda high for a single sleep mask but it comes with earplugs and a little bag of you need it and again the quality just feels nice on your face. Was worried that it would be uncomfortable because I sleep on my side but I feel no pressure or weight on my nose and I breathe and sleep just fine with it on. Definitely helped my sleep quality improve after sleepless nights . Definitely worth the buy!

   Pretty good, but there are better options
   This mask has been available on Amazon for a while, since at least as early as 2019. It was one of the first masks on Amazon of the “3D” or form fitting design with eye wells to take pressure off your eye lids, and reduce, and ideally, eliminate eyelashes and eye makeup rubbing on the mask. These features make it a lot more comfortable and effective than a class, simple eye mask that you might get for free on an international flight, or buy at a drugstore or gas station.That said, this general design idea has been improved upon by now, and there are a lot more options that will fit most faces and block most light out better than this one does, and often at lower prices too, so I recommend that anyone reading this in 2024 and later look for other options and pick something else out.That said, here are the pros and cons of this mask, and the pros are quite significant, and better than a “simple” sleeping mask design.Pros:-Nice wide band. This helps a lot with with comfort. About 15/15″ wide, which is great. It is widely adjustable for a wide range of head sizes. The adjustment slider is not bothersome. It has good stretchy elastic that is helpful for being able to slip the mask up on your forehead if you need to get up in the night for something, and then slip it back down when you are ready to go back to sleep. This is not always possible with some of the wrap-around silk masks with the velcro in the back, with those you usually can’t lift it off your face without completely undoing the velcro.-Soft eye cups and very comfortable around the eyes because no pressure on the eyelids, and can open your eyes and blink them while wearing.-Nice consistency, soft, squishy foam that conforms fairly well to the face.-Soft fabric touching your face, and nearly as soft on the outward facing side too.-“Wings” with a little padding on the sides, which makes it more comfortable for side sleepers, which is a detail that is hard to get right with this design of sleep mask. This isn’t done perfectly on this mask, but it is done better than some other types of masks of this general type, and makes this mask decent for side sleeping and rolling around without it getting pushed off center on your face in the middle of the night.-None of the fabric on this mask or the strap has affinity for lint, pet hair, or any other kinds of annoying fuzz or fiber. There are other masks where this can be a problem. You don’t want a bunch of this gross stuff stuck to a mask that you are going to put on your face all night.Cons:-The mask overall, feels a tad small, and like it could achieve blackout more reliably if it were a little bigger.-I have somewhat long natural eyelashes, and they do touch the inside of the mask a little when I blink. This does not bother me, but it might bother some users. It is hard to find masks with eye wells much deeper than this one, but I think there are a few options out there.-For me, sometimes light gets in a little near the bottom of the mask near my cheeks with this mask. It helps though to make sure the strap is pretty snug. Fortunately, the wide strap makes it remain comfortable even when on the snug side.-This mask slips off while I’m sleeping sometimes. Making sure the strap is fairly snug helps with this too, but I think other newer designs might work better for this. It still stays on a lot better than a “simple” sleep mask that is not 3D design.-As of 2024, the time of writing this review, this mask is going for $22 for a black one, and more for colored ones. There are other masks of similar quality for $10. They may have a little bit narrower strap, but they have better contouring around the eyes that will make them slip off less, and achieve blackout more reliably.I do recommend this general type of sleep mask over the other major styles of sleep masks available, unless you are intent on another style for specific reasons. Soft foam contoured 3D type sleep masks are cheap ($10 to $20 as of 2024), they have a reasonably sleek look, they are available in several colors, they are soft, lightweight, and crushable for traveling well, and some of the cheapest ones ($10) actually feel good to wear and come close to complete blackout.Hope this helps!
