I am a hot yoga girl, I sweat a lot, and I hate when my towel moves or slides out. This is the perfect yoga towel. I love the grip pattern and it is very absorbent. The price is higher than I would have wanted to spend, but this is SO much better than a regular microfiber towel. Would highly recommend.

Best Hot Yoga Towel
If you donât have a great slip resistant mat for hot yoga, you absolutely need this yoga towel. It keeps me from slipping in my down dog, which has been my biggest issue w other hot yoga towels. Highly recommend! Safe to wash and dry.

Sticks like glue. (Actually, not so much. Please read my 6 month update).
I have had various yoga mat towels including the $$$ YogiToes. All of them start out a wee bit slippery especially after 60 min of 105F hot yoga with sweat pouring off my forehead and arms. They get worse after subsequent washings (could it be the dryer sheets)? After much cramping due to trying to hold a downward dog while my hands are failing underneath me, I decided to try this yoga towel.Out of the packaging, it smells bad. Like BO mixed with tires. I chose not to throw mine in the wash right away because I wanted to see how sticky it was right out of the box (but I did spray it down with a healthy dose of Febreeze). Holy moly, this towel STICKS, not just to my hands but to my Manduka mat underneath. If you lay the towel down on your mat and make sure it’s flat throughout (no bumps or curled edges at the bottom), this towel won’t budge. The hexagonal silicon shapes really make a difference! I’m afraid to use any of my other towels now!PS. I certainly hope this towel holds up to frequent washings. I’m going to try hang drying it and not putting it in the dryer with dryer sheets to see if that helps to prolong the stickiness.EDIT: 3 Month update…So I’ve been using this towel almost exclusively for 3 months now (that’s about 30 yoga classes and about the same amount of washings). I am impressed: The hexagonal shapes have not lifted nor peeled one bit! It’s like they’re laser printed on! Has the mat become slippery since I bought it? Maybe a little. Last night I noticed my hands slipping in down dog, but honestly it was really minor and it might have been due to my pose (I had one leg in the air, bent, for “hip opener” which is one of my least favorite poses). Note: I don’t wash with fabric softeners and I don’t dry this towel with a dryer sheet. I also don’t spray it down with water before class. All in all I still give this towel 2 thumbs up. My favorite part is that it stays flat throughout class and doesn’t bunch up at all. Even if my hands were to slip, it sticks like glue to my mat.EDIT: 6 month update…Hands are slipping badly on mat. Have washed it about 45x for 60 yoga classes, no fabric softener, no dryer sheets (I only accidentally put it in the dryer once). Kinda bummed actually. I only use this mat for Hot yoga now since I’m not moving around too much. But if I’m doing Sculpt or Power, forget it. It’s too slippery. Very bummed. Downgrading my rating from a 5 to a 4.

Beautiful, Clever, and Functional
I am an avid yogi and normally don’t like using a towel but I needed one in a bind. I had seen others at my studio using this one so I had to give it a try myself. This product is so clever and effective and beautiful too. The rubber does a great job holding me in place while my hands are dry and the microfiber takes over once I start to sweat. It is a great size and has held up with weekly washes as instructed: gentle cycle. I choose to air dry as our dryer runs a bit hot and I don’t want to melt the rubber so I refrain from putting this in the dryer. It is double sided which keeps it pretty well in place on the mat. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it highly.

This is the best yoga mat towel for no slip with agreat design! I have been doing yoga for over 20 years and have bought many yoga towels, especially for hot yoga. What I like is that even dry it does not buckle up, and when I sweat it absorbs. It stays in place. It is very well made and just what I have needed to have a stress free class!

The plastic stick stuff is on both sides, which is interesting, but plastic gets slippery when wet, so if you’re dripping buckets during class, you might prefer a different towel with grips only on one side. Still 5 stars for quality and non-hot yoga stickiness.

I have tried countless types of towels for hot yoga over the years and always ended up slipping and sliding. Not anymore. These towels with silicone grip by Clever Yoga are the best I have ever used and are all that I use now. They’re beautiful, comfortable, and the silicone grips are very effective. I no longer slip, slide, or lose my grip. I love them so much that I purchased two in each color because I do hot yoga several times a week and never what to be without these towels in future. Absolute game-changer for hot yoga. I wash them on a gentle cycle and hang them to dry, which they do quickly and beautifully. Just follow the washing instructions that come with each towel. I bought because a studio I frequent provides mats but requires you to bring your own towel. It works great… while I wouldn’t consider it completely non-slip on the mat side (only because it’s thin, not because it’s not sticky), I do find it a lot better on the human size. I frequent another studio that has a soft floor so this is perfect as I don’t need to carry my mat and I think it will be also be great for travelling (except without any cushion of course)
