    So fast, easy and delicious, plus kid-approved
    I’m obsessed with this cookbook so far. The recipes are simple and easy to follow, and so much more delicious than the typical quick meals I throw together when I’m short on time. Plus, my kids actually get excited about them, which is rare these days. I made the sesame noodles with my 5- and 3-year olds – it was so easy they basically did it all themselves (with a little help on measurements).To get the most out of it, just plan ahead a bit to include some of the ingredients from your the recipes in your grocery order and then the rest is easy to do on the fly. Can’t wait to try more.

    More precise recipes.
    The description of the ingredients and measurements need to be more precise. For example, two small cabbages are subjective. Maybe four cups or six cups of cabbage would be more helpful. Also, the recipe was very bland. I cooked the “Stuffed Cabbage without the stuffing.” I added seasoning to taste, didn’t add all the cabbage. It was alot of cabbage left. I ordered the cookbook after seeing her on the,”Today,” show but the recipes are probably not going to work for the whole family.

    Not What I Expected
    I preordered this book after seeing a recipe on Today. Unfortunately, the recipes are not what I expected. These are unusual recipes, more like European style. Some of them call for anchovies. One calls for kimchi, which I love, but it is a very distinct flavor that one either loves or hates.I’ve been cooking for 40 years and have a great idea what works for me. I don’t think that I will try more than a very few of the recipes, including the recipe featured on Today. I’d rather try the many Mediterranean Diet recipes that I didn’t get to yet than this. I love the flavor profile of Mediterranean.Finally, as a person with severe spinal stenosis, I was hoping for healthy, palatable, and quick meals to make. This just is not that. I am just really disappointed. Now that the book is out, preview the contents to get an idea of whether these recipes are something you may like. I wish I had done that.

    I like how quick and easy these recipes are. I am a little disappointed that a lot of the ingredients aren’t available where I live. But overall a good recipe book.

    Flavorful, fast, fantastic!
    Sometimes I am just too tired to cook but still want something full of flavor. Ali’s book is your best companion for this situation. So many creative ideas that are ready to eat, truly, in 15 minutes or less. One of my favorites are the lamb and smashed cucumber pitas – oh my gosh. My family loves these and so do I. The amalfi lemon pesto pasta took us right back to Sorrento even on a busy weekday evening. Grab a copy and enjoy dinner after dinner even when you think you’re too tired to cook!

    The cookbook busy people who love food need
    You know how lots of cookbooks and websites promise 30-minute meals but then they really take like an hour and make your kitchen a disaster? Ali’s book is the opposite. These recipes are legitimately quick and don’t require anything out of the ordinary (much of the ingredients, if not sold at your local grocery, can be found online). It takes a busy person to understand just how hard it can be to get a good dinner (or dessert) on the table, and Ali has nailed it.What excites me most is how flexible the recipes are, and while they’re fast, they’ll help you build up your confidence experimenting with new flavors, ingredients, and techniques. I imagine if new cooks make their way through this book, they’ll come out the other side being way more confident about their abilities in the kitchen. And as a culinary school grad and serious home cook, I’m equally as delighted by Ali’s creativity, deep culinary knowledge, and realism about what’s actually possible to accomplish in such a short period of time. (It’s actually quite a lot!)10/10 highly recommend

    Isn’t what I thought it would be
    There are only a few recipes that I would like. I saw her on 1 of the morning shows and was intrigued. She made the 3 recipes I would make, but the rest were just plain meh.
